About me

I am a professional artist, and having been based for the past eight years in Jersey, in the Channel Islands, I am about to return to the UK, and will be based in Kent, just outside Maidstone.  I am best known for my contemporary images of Jersey's coastline and I have found that there is great demand for the marine landscapes that can be seen in the on-line galleries on this site. However I also paint other subjects-including abstract works and if you have a browse through this site you will find many and varied subjects. In these days of social media more and more traffic to this site site comes from Facebook. If you see things you like, then please tell your friends!

Yes. Absolutely. I still aim to continue to vist the Island and to produce the work that remains highly sought after on the island.

www.martinbullivant.com will remain in place and will continue to be the place to find out what is happening, along with Facebook, of course. This site will enable you to find out more about me, my paintings, where to see them,where to buy them, and even how to begin to learn to paint.

I have been very busy recently and there are lots of new paintings to see. A new gallery has been added, dedicated to showing my latest available work. Many of these are available to buy from Studio18 in Beresford Street, St Helier, tel 01534 734920.

I always have commissions underway, and contrary to popular opinion, it does not cost more to commission me than it does to buy from a gallery. Many people call in to my studio (no appointment needed) just to talk about my work, and increasingly to enquire about the private art tuition I provide. If you fancy having a go you can contact me here to find out more. there is no minimum number of lessons and you can do as much or as little as you want.

International interest
